BEYOND WALL is a repurpose product that transforms 'pallet', an essential element in the global logistics industry, into a partition by applying the concept of furniture. We developed and planned the Support fixture and Connection accessory module to give sustainability of waste pallet under the concept of "a method of producing without producing" by emphasizing the beauty of the palette as an item with an ecosystem that is recycled and resource circulation. Partitions are furniture that can create a variety of spaces on demand and act as a platform to connect people in physical spaces. Waste palettes create connections and extensions, creating a greener space to suggest a new way of working beyond the applications of traditional partitions.
BEYOND WALL은 전세계 물류산업에서 필수 요소인 ‘팔레트’를 가구의 개념을 적용해 파티션으로 바꾼 Repurpose Product입니다. 플라스틱 파레트가 재활용되어 자원순환이 되는 에코시스템을 갖춘 아이템이라는 점을 포인트로 파레트가 가진 조형미를 강조하여 ‘생산하지 않고 생산하는 방식’이라는 컨셉으로 폐팔레트의 지속 가능성을 부여하기 위해 Support fixture과 Connection accessory 모듈을 개발과 기획을 진행했습니다. 파티션은 요구에 따라 다양한 공간을 만들 수 있는 가구로서 사람들을 물리적인 공간에서 연결하는 플랫폼과 같은 역할을 합니다. 폐파레트는 연결과 확장을 만들어내며, 그리너리한 공간을 만들어 기존의 파티션의 용도를 넘어 새로운 일하는 방식을 제안합니다.
