Seoyoosuk was built 13 years ago for those who needed a break from the busy daily life of
the city and found a leisurely time, and it means "a house where you stay slowly." It is a
Korean-style house stay & cafe space located in Chungju, where the peaceful lawn, garden,
and the calm Namhan River in front of Stay provide comfort. We hope that the atmosphere of
the outer garden and the interior of the garden can be connected to the interior of the room
through the interior, and we planned to make it a comfortable and calm place where you can
feel the warmth of nature. The unique physical properties of wood, stone, and fabric are
designed to emphasize the tranquility felt in Seoyoosuk, so that they can harmonize with
nature and calmly focus on rest using light, dark ivory and brown color tones that resemble
nature.
서유숙은 13년전 도심의 바쁜 일상에서 벗어나 여유로운 시간을 찾는 쉼이 필요한 분들을 위해 지어져 ‘천천히 머물다 가는 집’ 이라는 뜻을 담고 있습니다. 평화롭게 펼쳐진 잔디밭과 정원, 스테이 앞 잔잔하게 흐르는 남한강이 편안함을 안겨주는 충주에 위치한 한옥 스테이&카페 공간입니다. 외부 정원의 분위기를, 내부에서 차경을 통해 정원의 분위기가 객실 인테리어 분위기와도 함께 연결이 될 수 있기를 바라며, 자연 속에서 느낄 수 있는 컬러와 소재를 배치하여 자연의 온기를 느낄 수 있는, 편안하고 잔잔한 휴식을 통해 위안을 받을 수 있는 공간으로 만들고자 기획했습니다. 나무, 돌, 패브릭 각 각의 고유한 물성들은 서유숙에서 느껴지는 안온함을 더욱 강조하기위해 선명하기보다 자연을 닮은 옅고, 짙은 아이보리와 브라운 컬러톤을 사용하여 자연과 조화롭고, 차분히 휴식에 집중 할 수 있도록 구성했습니다.
